Liljenberg – customer-specific component solutions since 1972

About Liljenberg

Liljenberg is a Swedish industrial company with a strong foundation in technical expertise, customer focus, and long-term relationships. The company was founded in 1972 by Ingemar Liljenberg, an entrepreneur with a sharp sense for business and quality. From the very beginning, a close collaboration was established with Euro-Locks – a partnership that remains strong more than 50 years later.

In the 1980s, the product range was expanded to include telescopic slides from Accuride, and by the late 1990s Liljenberg took a strategic step towards customer-specific component solutions. This shift transformed the company from a traditional agent into a value-creating partner with responsibility for the entire supply chain. Since the 2000s, Liljenberg has operated its own subsidiary in Shanghai, strengthening its presence with manufacturing partners in Asia.

Since December 2023, Liljenberg has been part of the OEM International Group. With the support and network of the group behind it, the company is entering a new phase of expansion – while staying true to its core values of quality, service, and long-term customer relationships

Four ways we deliver customer value

✓ 1. Development

We contribute technical expertise at an early stage. The choice of material, technology, and method can reduce costs and minimize production risks. This is where our experience makes a real difference.

✓ 2. Manufacturing

We have established relationships with manufacturers in Asia and Europe – both for simpler components and for processes requiring IATF or PPAP. We select the manufacturing partner based on each project and its specific requirements.

✓ 3. Logistics

We plan and optimize the material flow all the way from the factory to the customer’s assembly line. With our warehouse in Vellinge, we offer short lead times, reliable deliveries, and customized quantities.

✓ 4. Value-added services

We simplify our customers’ daily operations by offering assembly, packaging, marking, labeling, and documentation. Our processes are tailored to each customer’s needs.

Our offering

Liljenberg provides both a fixed product range and a growing selection of customer-specific components. We continue to represent our strong agencies – such as Euro-Locks and Accuride – but our strongest profile is helping industrial customers find technically, economically, and logistically smart solutions for their unique needs.

This includes:

  • Castings with machining
  • Sheet metal components (stamping, bending, welding)
  • Powder pressing, sintering, and MIM
  • Assembly, packaging, and customized labeling
  • Warehousing and logistics solutions
  • Standard products: locks, telescopic slides, and fittings

We work with a high level of technical understanding – both of the product’s function and of the customer’s overall business. We are not a catalogue company. Our salespeople often know exactly where a specific component is used in the customer’s product.

How we work – from design to delivery

Our way of working is characterized by transparency, commitment, and technical expertise. This is what a typical process looks like:

1. Contact
The first contact takes place via phone, trade fair, or recommendation.

2. Our offering
We present our offering: manufacturing expertise, logistics solutions, and project management – all from a single point of contact.

3. Vad behöver du?
Kunden delar ritningar eller idéer. Vi analyserar tillverkningsmetod och väljer lämpliga partners, ofta två eller fler, för att kunna jämföra pris, leveransförmåga och konstruktionsförbättringar.

4. Comprehensive pricing
We offer a comprehensive price that covers customs, freight, warehousing, and delivery directly from our warehouse in Vellinge.
5. Samples and tooling
After the customer’s approval, we take responsibility for producing samples and tooling, together with the manufacturing partner.
6. Purchasing and warehousing
Once the samples are approved, we purchase the components for stock, often in larger series with flexible call-offs.
